About Us

I am Mark Smith, author and the creator of the world of Atal. I'm lucky enough that being autistic has made me artistic, and I've been telling stories and building worlds for as long as I can remember. The world of Atal has been growing in my mind for years now, and I certainly have expansive - and somewhat ambitious - plans for the future. When not writing I'm about as nerdy as one can possibly get. You'll find me playing games, reading books, and amassing an increasing number of board games that I just think are neat. Or I'll be spending far too long painting tiny details on plastic miniatures. All of this is supported of course by my lovely assistant, Bowie. Behold him here providing his usual measure of support and advice while I work on my next chapter.
